David utilizes his 30+ years in construction, architecture, and business to the operational functionality and expansion of each UP Company. He brings valuable perspectives from previous key positions in Business Development, Preconstruction & Project Management, allowing him to provide a depth of management & client insight to all pursuits.
David earned his B.F.A. degree in Architectural Design from the University of Kansas. He is also a member of the Kansas City Chapter of Health Care Engineers (KCAHE).
David and his wife Tara have four sons and live in Leawood, KS. In his spare time, he enjoys sporting clays, climbing Colorado peaks and college basketball. He volunteers his time as a speaker and mentor to stem cell recipients at the University of Kansas Cancer Center, who are preparing for bone marrow transplants to fight and beat cancer.
